IES is a very innovative company which performs a lot of R&D. In the past many years we have developed the following products in the fields of meteorology and quality management/testing:

1. ULTIMA, a weather briefing workstation for aviation as well as for the meteorological community.

2. WebULTIMA, a Web-based Flight Information System which allows a user to define a flight and receive all related weather information for flight planning through the Internet.

3. Collaborative Weather Forecasting System (CWFS), a Web-based meteorological application capable of displaying any kind of geo-referenced data, including satellite, radar, station plots (METAR, PIREP, SIGMET, AIRMET) and TAF.

4. Meteorological SWITCH, which provides the specific functions to collect, validate, store, and forward meteorological data and process information for aviation and non-aviation purposes (WMO and AFTN message types).

5. Generic Viewer for weather forecasting.

6. Chart Maker for drawing significant weather charts.
